Taisonic
Taisonic, based in Yuyao near Ningbo, builds plastic welding equipment, cutting and sealing machines and robotic workstations, with automotive interior parts as a key example. Start your enquiry by listing every joining, cutting, assembly and inspection step on the part, so Taisonic can quote the whole cell.

What Taisonic builds
Taisonic organises its homepage around three lines: plastic welding processes, cutting and sealing, and robotic workstations. The leading example is a robotic application for automotive interiors. In that cell one robot station joins interior parts, runs a laser cut and completes assembly. A separate example shows equipment that installs clips.
The range suits buyers who need more than a single welding press. Taisonic presents itself as a builder of application cells, where the welding step sits alongside cutting, fitting and handling. Each example describes one project. The machine you order will carry its own mix of operations, so describe your part in full when you ask for a price. If your work is mainly a single plastic joint, our guide to ultrasonic plastic welding covers the basics of horns, fixtures and joint design.

Company record
A report from the Yuyao municipal media centre, dated 2024-09-25, names Yuyao Taisonic among the local companies selected for the sixth national batch of specialised enterprises. The report credits the local economic authority as its information source.
The record helps you confirm the company name and its standing in Yuyao as of September 2024. Machine documents are a separate matter. The homepage also makes quality, carbon-related and application statements. Ask for documents that cover the scope relevant to your own cell.

Describing an interior assembly
Send component drawings and name the polymers, inserts and surface finishes. Mark every point that needs welding or another form of attachment, and show the visible surfaces that must stay free of marks. List the differences between left and right parts or between trim levels, and point out the features that can locate each version. A photo of a finished interior panel is rarely enough to design a fixture from.
Ask Taisonic to name the joining method for each attachment point and to explain the choice. Keep welded, installed, cut and inspected features in separate lists. That way a multi-step robotic cell gets quoted as one, and you can review both the process choice and the finished assembly.
Fixtures and variant changeover
Request a fixture concept for the largest and most awkward part, showing the supports, the locating points and the tool access. Ask how the operator loads the assembly and whether a component can go in the wrong way. Find out which nests or tools change between variants and how the cell recognises which variant is loaded. If you need automatic variant detection, write it into the specification.
Plan where variant tooling is stored and how it is swapped. Check that a failed assembly can be removed, and the cell serviced, without scratching cosmetic surfaces. A useful changeover demonstration uses a real part variant, runs the full setup and ends with the first accepted part. The quote should name who engineers the tooling and who commissions it.
The robot within the full sequence
For a robotic proposal, ask for the sequence of joining, cutting, assembly and inspection drawn with your actual part in the layout. The drawing should show operator work, waiting time and transfers. Ask which tooling and peripheral equipment Taisonic supplies and which parts come from third parties. Robot brand names and cell photos tell you little about cycle time or guarding, so ask for both to be stated for your cell.
Define how the cell exchanges parts and programme signals with the rest of your line. Ask what happens when a component is missing or a step is interrupted. If several tasks share one station, find out which task sets the pace. Judge the cell by accepted finished assemblies per hour, measured over the trial. For a wider view of robot and fixture cells, see our page on welding automation.
Testing function and appearance
Agree with your own engineers on the attachment strength or other functional tests, the finished geometry and the cosmetic limits. Use moulded parts, inserts and finishes that show normal production variation. Watch repeated assemblies and pull samples from different points in the run. A joint can hold well and still leave the part out of shape or marked.
Record the fixtures, tooling, programme and settings used for every accepted part. Include a variant change during the trial and look closely at the first assemblies after it. If laser cutting is part of the cell, assess the cut and its installation needs on their own. Our guide to welding sample trials and acceptance helps you write the test plan before the parts ship.
Handover records and training
Ask for manuals, electrical drawings, the accepted recipes and backups of the robot and control programmes for the delivered cell. Name who will be trained for daily running, for variant setup and for fault recovery. Find out how replacement tooling is specified, and whether a repaired tool or an edited programme needs a fresh acceptance run. Settle these points in the project scope before shipment.
Work out utilities, installation access, guarding and commissioning duties with competent people at your plant. For a buyer, a complete tooling and programme handover backed by accepted assemblies counts for more than awards or industry titles. When you line up offers from several cell builders, our guide to comparing welding equipment quotations sets out a fair way to do it. Yuyao Mingfeng Plastic Welding Automation is another Yuyao builder you may want on the same shortlist.
Confirm before ordering
Before signing, have Taisonic put the following in writing.
Scope: every operation the cell performs, the tooling for each variant and the robot and peripheral equipment included, with third-party items named.
Performance: the accepted cycle for finished assemblies and the result of the variant changeover demonstration.
Documents: current conformity papers for the delivered cell, plus documents behind any quality or carbon statement that matters to you. See our guide to verifying welding equipment certificates.
Handover: programme backups, recipes, drawings, spare tooling specifications and training.
Commercial terms: price, delivery, stock, warranty and the reach of support in your region.
Compare the published product scope
Product families serve different tasks. Use the configuration and acceptance questions to request a quotation for the same work.

| Product family | Published scope | Before selecting |
|---|---|---|
| Plastic welding equipment [1] | The homepage lists plastic welding processes as a main product line. | Give polymers, attachment geometry and cosmetic limits, and ask which method Taisonic proposes. |
| Robotic interior-part cells [1] | One featured cell combines interior-part joining, laser cutting and assembly. | Ask for a task-by-task scope, a fixture concept and a full cycle of accepted assemblies. |
| Clip installation machines [1] | Shown as a separate application. | Confirm the clip types, variant handling and how installed clips are checked. |
| Cutting and sealing equipment [1] | Listed as its own product line on the homepage. | Set separate acceptance criteria for the cut or seal, apart from any welding step. |
Buyer questions
What should I accept: the robot or the cell?
The cell. Accept the complete assembly workflow, including fixtures, operator actions, inspection and the finished part requirements.
Does the 2024 enterprise selection cover Taisonic machines?
No. The Yuyao report names the company as of September 2024. For the machine itself, ask for current equipment documents and run a trial on your parts. [2]
How can I tell if variant handling will work?
Ask for a written tooling and programme plan, watch a changeover on real variants and inspect the first accepted parts after each change.
Does Taisonic only make ultrasonic welders?
No. Its homepage covers plastic welding processes, cutting and sealing, robotic workstations and clip installation, often combined in one cell. [1]
