Eweld Hangzhou Welding Equipment

Eweld in Hangzhou designs and integrates automated plasma, TIG and combined plasma-TIG welding systems, with microplasma for small, thin parts as a speciality. Start with a dimensioned drawing of your joint and real sample parts, so Eweld can explain which process it proposes and prove it on your material.

What Eweld offers

Eweld's introduction covers development, design, production and system integration for automated welding. It talks about combined plasma and TIG work and about microplasma for small, thin parts. The homepage shows plate butt joining, stations for external, internal or combined welding, and a category for rotary tables and backing.

The company page also makes strong claims about welding speed and thickness. Treat them as a starting point and ask Eweld to repeat them on your joint, since preparation, material, shielding and test set-up all move the result.

Shenzhen SCW Medicath posted a procurement result in 2022, dated 2021, that names Eweld as supplier of microplasma equipment. It helps you confirm who you are dealing with. Approval for a medical, food or pressure-vessel use comes from the documents for your own machine and product.

02

Describe the thin part and what goes wrong today

Give Eweld the real diameter, wall thickness, joint position and the distortion you can accept. Photos help show access. Send a dimensioned drawing with them. Then name the failure you want gone: burn-through, uneven penetration, marks at starts and stops, fit-up scatter or results that depend on who is welding. Judge every proposal by how well it fixes that failure.

Ship sample material in its production state, with the usual surface preparation and any coating. If one station has to take several part sizes, send the extremes and point out the features that locate the part. Ask whether Eweld plans a dedicated fixture, interchangeable nests or an adjustable fixture, and what each choice costs in changeover time.

03

Ask why plasma, TIG or P+T suits your joint

Ask Eweld to explain why it picks plasma, TIG or combined P+T for your joint. A good answer covers arc access, heat input, travel, filler and protection on the front and back of the weld. Speed helps only when the parts pass at the right geometry and finish. Compare speed figures only when they come from the same material and joint preparation.

For a combined system, request a sequence diagram that shows what each process does, how the torch or part travels, and which controls hold the result steady. Ask whether wire feeding, arc-length control and similar functions are part of the offered configuration. Have each option demonstrated on your part, because the company-level description covers the whole range of machines.

04

Clamping, backing and torch access

On thin parts, fit-up and shielding limit the result as much as the power source does. Ask for the locating and clamping method, the incoming variation it tolerates and how the operator loads the part. Include torch clearance and the backing arrangement. A perfect coupon means little if the production fixture cannot hold real parts the same way every time.

For internal or round seams, check access for setup, inspection and changing consumables. Ask what the station does with a bad load or a part out of tolerance. A rotary fixture suits many round parts, yet eccentricity, length and mass distribution can still change the job. Run the trial as one continuous cycle of loading, alignment, welding and unloading.

05

Keep a sample record you can repeat

Before the trial, agree the weld appearance, dimensions and examination method. Decide with your engineers whether a leak test or another functional check is part of accepting the finished product. They choose the right test for the application, and medical or pressure equipment brings its own approval route.

For each accepted sample, write down the settings, torch and fixture layout, shielding and consumables. Include repeated starts and both the smallest and largest parts. Keep good and failed specimens, each labelled with the fault you saw. Ask Eweld which variables the controls hold automatically and which rely on the operator. That list turns a good demonstration into a commissioning target.

06

What a working station should include

For an integrated station, ask for a price list that names the power source, controls, motion, fixtures, gas handling and any peripherals. Request a layout with operator access and maintenance clearance. Decide who handles electrical installation, guarding and the hazard assessment at your site. Imported equipment often needs paperwork for your market on top of the company's general documents.

Plan training on your own part family, storage of approved weld recipes, controller backups and spare torch parts. Agree who solves a process problem after delivery and how the sample acceptance is repeated on site.

07

Confirm before ordering

Ask Eweld to write into the project quotation the current availability, delivery time, the certificates for your station and the support it offers in your region. Request the speed and thickness figures as results on your part, the full list of included options and the acceptance record both sides will use. Give every bidder the same acceptance record and the same split of responsibility, then compare the offers.

Buyer questions

Will I get the advertised welding speed?

Ask Eweld to run the offered configuration on your material, joint preparation and acceptance criteria. Plan production around the speed it reaches there.

Does Eweld's industry experience approve my product?

Company experience and a past procurement result help you judge the supplier. Approval for a regulated use comes from documents for your machine and your welded product. [2]

What do I send for a microplasma proposal?

A dimensioned drawing, sample material, fit-up limits, the finish you need and the test method. That gives Eweld far more to work with than photos.

When should I choose combined plasma-TIG?

Ask Eweld to set out the role of each process on your joint in a sequence diagram, then compare it with a single-process option in the trial.
