Keyue Welding
Keyue, in Yueqing near Wenzhou, makes arc welding power sources: ZX7 stick welders, WS and WSME TIG units, MIG machines and MZ submerged-arc sources such as the MZ-1000. Before you ask for a price, describe your joint and decide whether you need one machine or a complete seam-welding package.

What Keyue makes
Keyue develops, manufactures and sells welding equipment in Yueqing. Its catalogue covers four arc welding families: ZX7 stick units, WS and WSME TIG equipment, MIG machines and MZ submerged-arc equipment. The homepage names the MZ-1000 and MZ-1250 among its other models.
Keyue also sells LGK plasma cutting equipment. Treat the cutter as its own line in any quote, apart from the welding sources. A Wenzhou science and technology authority list from 2023 names Keyue as the supporting company of a municipal enterprise R&D centre. The company website also presents its size, awards and named projects.
Start with the joint, then pick the machine
Someone fixing brackets now and then needs a different machine from a shop that welds long steel seams every shift. Tell Keyue the base material, thickness, joint shape, weld position and access before you ask which current range to buy. For batch fabrication, send drawings of a typical part and of the hardest part to weld.
The peak current in a brochure shows how hard a machine can push for a moment. Production work depends on how long it can hold your welding current through a shift, so ask for figures at that current. Occasional repair jobs usually point to a stick or TIG unit. Long straight seams on thick work are the usual job for submerged-arc equipment such as the MZ family.
Setting up a TIG or MIG enquiry
For TIG, say whether the work needs alternating current, pulse control, filler wire and a foot control. Keyue lists two TIG families, WS and WSME, so ask which family and which model covers those functions for your parts.
For MIG, give the wire material and diameter, the shielding gas, the torch reach you need and how far the wire feeder will sit from the power source. Ask Keyue to quote the source, feeder, torch and cables as one matched set. Then every quote you compare covers the same working package.
Buying MZ submerged-arc equipment as a full package
An MZ-1000 or MZ-1250 power source is one part of a seam-welding station. List the travel mechanism, wire feed, welding head, flux handling and operator controls your job needs. Send a seam drawing with the seam length, run-on and run-off allowance, how the workpiece is supported and any limit on access above the joint.
Ask Keyue to split its quote into three groups: its standard source, its optional equipment, and items that come from other suppliers. A bare power source and a station with a tractor, positioner and flux recovery are different purchases, so compare like with like. Ask for a configuration list, a statement of who installs the equipment, and a sample weld plan for your seam.
Check the rating plate and your power supply
Ask for the current datasheet and a photo of the rating plate for the exact unit offered. Go through input voltage, phase, frequency and connection with whoever looks after the workshop electrics. Models in the same series can each have their own supply and current range, so check every model on your shortlist against its own plate.
Ask for the duty cycle at your welding current, along with the test conditions behind it. Then check what comes in the box: cable lengths, torch or electrode holder, connectors and cooling. A low price can hide a machine that arrives without the parts you need to start welding, or one that draws more power than your site can supply.
Run trial welds on your own parts
Make coupons from your production material with the same preparation and fit-up your line will use. Write down the consumable, gas, polarity and settings for each trial weld. Agree who judges the results and whether the job calls for visual checks alone or destructive tests as well. Structural and pressure work needs the examination your own code requires.
Weld again and again through a realistic work cycle. Watch arc starting, adjustment, stops and how the machine picks up after sitting idle. Have the operator who will run the machine do the welding. Attach the accepted setup and the sample record to the order. Any later swap of source, feeder or torch then comes up before shipment instead of at commissioning.
Service, spare parts and manuals
Find out who handles fault diagnosis, replacement boards, consumables and return freight. Ask which wearing parts you can buy locally and which must come from Keyue. Request the manual in your language, the troubleshooting guide and the spare-parts list while you are still negotiating.
Settle the delivery date, warranty terms, stock position and final package contents in the quotation itself. Those terms decide what you can claim later if a board fails or a part is missing on arrival.
Confirm before ordering
Before you order, get Keyue’s written answer on each of the following.
The exact model, its rating plate data and the duty cycle at your welding current. The full package list, covering feeder, torch, head, travel and cooling equipment, with any items from other suppliers marked as such. For the plasma cutter, a cutting rating stated on its own, kept apart from the welding sources.
Certificates that name the selling company and the model offered, for your destination market. Check their scope and validity yourself. The 2023 R&D centre listing is past company information, so ask for current documents that cover the equipment itself. If the company's size, awards or project names weigh in your choice, ask for the documents behind them. Finally, get the warranty terms, the service arrangement and the delivery date on paper.
Compare the published product scope
Product families serve different tasks. Use the configuration and acceptance questions to request a quotation for the same work.
On a small screen, scroll sideways to read all three columns.
| Product family | Published scope | Before selecting |
|---|---|---|
| ZX7 stick welders [1] | ZX7 is Keyue's stick welding family. | Confirm the model, control functions, input supply and which electrode holder and cables come with it. |
| WS / WSME TIG welders [1] | The catalogue lists two TIG families, WS and WSME. | Ask which family offers the current type, pulse and foot control your work needs, and which torch is included. |
| MIG welders [1] | MIG-labelled models appear in the catalogue. | Request the matched feeder, torch, wire and gas setup for your parts. |
| MZ submerged-arc sources [1] | The homepage lists the MZ-1000 and MZ-1250. | Specify travel equipment, flux handling and how the seam will be accepted. |
| LGK plasma cutters [1] | Keyue sells LGK plasma cutting equipment as a separate line. | Quote and rate the cutter on its own, apart from any welding source. |
Buyer questions
Does the LGK plasma cutter count toward a welding rating?
No. LGK units are for cutting. Assess the cutter on its own and keep its current rating out of any welding source comparison.
Is the catalogue current enough to choose a model?
No. Match the current you need with the duty cycle, power supply and accessories of the model quoted. Then weld representative parts before you decide.
What comes with an MZ submerged-arc source?
Ask Keyue for a configuration list. The homepage lists MZ-1000 and MZ-1250 power sources, and a working station also needs a head, wire feed, travel unit and flux handling. The list should show which of these Keyue supplies. [1]
What should I ask for before ordering?
A dated datasheet for the model, the package list, a rating plate photo, a trial plan, installation requirements and written service responsibilities. With these in hand, quotes from different factories become comparable.
